Østfold is the Norwegian county with the most petroglyphs, and Skjebergsletta outside Fredrikstad is the area with the most in Østfold. In this rich cultural landscape at the bottom of Skjebergkilen are over 100 engravings on islets and sloping mountain rocks.

We find much of the Norwegian light house history in the outer Oslo fjord basin. We also find examples of various types of lighthouses, from the coastal lighthouses Færder, Torbjørnskjær and Svenner to inlet lighthouses like Struten, Strømtangen, Homlungen and Fulehuk. And last, but not least, the very special Hollenderbåen lighthouse standing on Hollenderbåene in the middle of the fjord.
