Oslo has two airports with varying degrees of accessibility to Fredrikstad and Hvaler; Oslo Gardemoen (OSL) and Sandefjord Torp (TRF).

Airports Norway


The largest airport in Norwayto fly is Oslo Gardemoen. All major airlines fly into Gardemoen. Upon arrival
at Gardemoen follow the orange signs to the airport train (Flytoget). Buy your ticket at the automatic
kiosk and proceed down the escalators to the train. The train goes every 10 mins, on weekdays, to
Oslo Central Station and takes 19 mins. From here there is easy access to all forms of public transit.

Oslo’s second airport is in Sandefjord and is serviced by Ryan Air, Wizz Air, KLM, Norwegian and
Widerøe. There is a bus service from Sandfjord Torp to Oslo city centre. The bus takes about an hour
and 45 mins and leaves 35 mins after international arrivals. The bus arrives at the Oslo Bus Depot. 
From here there is easy access to public transport.

Oslo has very good public transit. It is possible to buy tickets at most convenience stores, metro
stations and on public transport. It is cheaper to buy your ticket before hand than on the bus or tram.
